1. Insert the device with its mounting seal, clamping frame and all enclosed mounting clips
into the mounting cut-out from the front, as shown in the figure.
2. Only tighten the setscrews at the mounting clips until their tips extend into the centering
bore at the clamping frame, as shown in the enlarged image section.
– The mounting clip still has to be movable.
– The setscrew must not loosen in the process.
If necessary, loosen the setscrew or tighten it slightly.
3. Perform this step for all setscrews.
4. Check that the mounting gasket is properly seated.
– The edge of the mounting gasket must be flush and close evenly with the stainless
steel front on all sides.
– The edge may protrude 0.1 to 0.5 mm.
5. Tighten the setscrew of the mounting clip until the fixed stop is reached and the torque
increases perceptibly. The tightening torque then amounts to approx. 1 Nm.
6. Check that the stainless steel front is in contact with the mounting location on all sides
and that the mounting seal is pressed against the surrounding area.
7. Check that the fixed stop has been reached on all mounting clips and that the mounting
gasket is installed correctly. Correct the tightening torque, if necessary, so that the
clamping force is evenly distributed.
For removal, follow the steps in the reverse order. Dispose of the used mounting gasket.
