Installing the line filter as lateral mounting component
The line filters for Power Modules with a rated power (HO) of more than 11 kW and line
filters from third party suppliers have to be mounted laterally.

Shielded cables must be used from the line filter to the motor. The filter has to be installed as
close as possible to the line entry of the cubicle.
Technical specifications of the line filters
The major electrical specification of the line filters is the same as for the suitable Power
Module. This applies to:
● line voltage
● line frequency
● rated current
The admissible ambient conditions of the line filters are the same as for the suitable Power
Module. This applies to:
● storage and transport temperature
● operating temperature
● relative humidity
● shock and vibration load
