Faults – what to do?
Faults Cause/Remedy
Water is running out. Attach/replace the drain hose correctly.
Tighten the screw-fitting on the supply hose.
Water not flowing in.
Detergent not dis-
pensed.

ticular wash process. This may result in changes to the pro-

Not a fault – the effect of the care product is not affected.
Clean the insert if necessary.
Spin cycle activated
several times.
Not a fault – unbalanced load detection system adjusts imbalance.
Odours in the wash-
ing machine.
Run the
Î Cottons 90 °C programme without laundry.
Use standard detergent for this.
Status display

escape from the de-
tergent drawer.
Too much detergent used?
Mix one tablespoonful of fabric softener with 1/2 litre water and
pour into compartment II (Not for outdoor fabrics, sportswear fab-
rics or those made with down!).
Reduce detergent dosage for the next wash cycle.
