If your Signal Measuring Instruments shows a bad picture or blocking error, check the cable connections, LNB, and any other equipment between the LNB and the meter, then adjust the dish. This may be due to no signal or a weak signal. You may also need to adjust the dish if it is not pointing at the satellite. If the signal is too strong, connect a signal attenuator to the LNB input. If the satellite dish is too small, consider changing to a larger dish. If the LNB noise factor is too high, change to an LNB with a lower noise factor. Finally, the LNB itself may be faulty, so consider changing it.

If the keys on your Signal Measuring Instruments are not working, it could be due to the battery being out. Even if using an adapter, ensure the power source is functional. Also, ensure there are no obstructions between the front panel and the keys.
