 Press and hold the SEARCH- [9] or SEARCH+ [6] button for approx. 2 seconds to launch the station
scan in the selected direction. The scan stops when the next station is found.
8.7 Manually tuning to a station
As well as the automatic station search, you can also tune in a station manually. This allows you to also
tune-in any weaker stations. Proceed as follows:
 Switch the kitchen radio to Radio mode.
 Briefly press the SEARCH- [9] or SEARCH+ [6] button to increase or reduce the frequency one step
(0.1 MHz).
8.8 Saving a station manually
To save the current station, proceed as follows:
 Press and hold the / MEM button [13] for approx. 2 seconds. The preset currently selected, e.g.
"P01" flashes on the display [1].
 Use the PRESET- [3] und PRESET+ [4] buttons to select the preset you want.
 Briefly press and hold the / MEM button [13] to save the station.
8.9 Stereo/Mono operation
As soon as a stereo station is tuned-in, the ST indicator [28] is shown on the display [1]. You can change
the setting to “Mono” to reduce noise on weak stations. Proceed as follows:
 Press and hold the /ST/MO button [8] for approx. 2 seconds. The ST indicator [28] disappears
from the display [1].
 Press and hold the /ST/MO button [8] for approx. 2 seconds to switch back to "Stereo". The ST
indicator [28] will appear on the display [1].
8.10 Sleep timer
The sleep timer function lets you set a time of between 10 and 120 minutes, after which the kitchen
radio will switch off automatically.
 While the device is switched on, briefly press the SNOOZE/SLEEP button [12]. The display [1] shows
"120" for a countdown to switching off in 120 minutes.
 Each press of the "SNOOZE /SLEEP" button [12] reduces the number of minutes by 10 minutes. If you
press the SNOOZE / SLEEP button [12] again when it shows "10", it then shows "OFF". The “OFF”
option disables the sleep timer. The selected option is activated automatically after 3 seconds.
 You can display the time remaining on the sleep timer by briefly pressing the SNOOZE / SLEEP button
[12].
 You can also cancel the sleep timer by simply switching the kitchen radio off.
