NOTE
► The appliance may generate light smoke and a slight smell during initial
use. This is due to the production residues and is not harmful. Provide for
sufficient ventilation. For example, open a window.
After 5 minutes, the appliance will switch itself off automatically. Wait until it has
cooled down completely.
5) Remove the plug from the mains power socket and clean the inside of the
appliance with a moist cloth and then dry it carefully.
Inserting the turntable
Place the turntable 4 centrally on the axle in the cooking area. Ensure that it
slides completely onto the axle and is firmly seated.
Operation
Setting the clock
After inserting the mains plug into the socket, open the microwave door once.
The display 1 shows "1:00". Close the door again.
1) Press the clock button q
. The display 1 reads "Hr 12".
2) Turn the control dial r
to select the desired mode:
– "Hr 24", the clock displays the time in 24-hour mode.
or
– "Hr 12", the clock displays the time in 12-hour mode.
3) Confirm your selection by pressing the start/quick start button r
.
NOTE
► The time display does not appear until you subsequently turn the control
dial r
, at which point you can set the time.
4) Turn the control dial r
to select the required hour and confirm your
selection by pressing the start/quick start button r .
5) Turn the control dial r
to select the required minute and confirm your
selection by pressing the start/quick start button r .
The time display is now programmed.
To read the current time of day while the microwave oven is in operation, press
the Clock button q
; the time is then shown on the display 1 for a few
seconds.
