7. Cleaning
Clean the device prior to its first use!
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
~ Pull the mains plug|3 out of the wall
socket before you clean the device.
~ The motor unit|1, the power cable and
the mains plug|3 must not be immersed
in water or other liquids.
DANGER! Risk of injury from
cutting!
~ When washing manually, the water
should be sufficiently clear that you can
see the blades of the attachments|11 /
|14 /|20 /|27 easily.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
~ Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
NOTE: motor unit|1 and masher|23 must
be assembled so that the masher attach-
ment|22 can be removed for cleaning.
Wiping off
Wipe off the motor unit|1 and the drive cov-
er|8 with a slightly damp cloth.
Dishwasher / Washing off
• All parts (except for the motor unit|1,
the whisk adapter|5, the masher|23,
the hand blender|24, the drive cover of
the chopper|28 and the multifunction
drive cover|8) may be cleaned in the
dishwasher.
• The whisk adapter|5, the masher|23,
the hand blender|24 and the drive cov-
er of the chopper|28 may be washed
by hand in warm water with detergent.
• Afterwards, rinse the parts with clean
water.
• Dry all parts carefully, before reassem-
bling the device and storing it.
Some cleaning tips
• Preferably clean the accessories imme-
diately after use, to prevent food resi-
dues from drying.
• After processing very salty food, you
should rinse the accessories immediately.
8. Storage
DANGER for children!
~ Keep the device out of the reach of chil-
dren.
DANGER!
In order to avoid accidents, the
mains plug
|

must never be connected to a
wall socket while in storage.
• Select a location where neither high
temperatures nor moisture can affect the
device.
• Food must not be stored in the contain-
ers|15 /|26 for more than 24 hours.
This also applies to storage in the refrig-
erator.
