Please note that a lot of electricity is
consumed in continuous operation
(24 hours) due to the high output of
2,000 watt. At a price of 35 cents
per kilowatt hour, this would mean
costs of approx. €16.80 a day or
about €504 a month.
8.10 Safety switch
A safety switch protects the device from
damage caused by falling and immediately
shuts down the device in the event of a fall.
Place the device back into upright posi-
tion.
8.11 Overheating protection
This device possesses overheating protec-
tion for your safety. If the temperature inside
your device gets too high, it automatically
switches off.
1. Turn off the power supply by setting the
on/off switch7 to O.
2. Let the device cool down completely.
3. Check whether the air inlet5 or air out-
let6 are obstructed and eliminate the
cause.
4. You can then switch the device on
again.
NOTE: if the cause cannot be found and the
fault occurs repeatedly, contact the service
centre.
9. Cleaning
In order to enjoy your device for a long time,
you should regularly clean it.
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
~ Disconnect the mains plug9 before any
cleaning.
~ Never immerse the device in water.
~ Do not let water or cleaning agent run
into the device.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
~ Do not clean using sharp objects or
abrasive cleaning agents.
Remote control
Clean the remote control18 with a dry
cloth.
Device
1. Carefully remove coarse dust deposits
with a vacuum cleaner.
2. Clean the outside of the device with a
damp cloth. You can also use a little de-
tergent.
3. Use a cloth dampened in clear water
for wiping afterwards.
4. Do not use the device until it is com-
pletely dry again.
10. Storage
Place the remote control18 into the
storage compartment3. If not in use
for an extended period, remove the
battery.
Pull out the mains plug9 if you are not
using the device for an extended peri-
od.
Wrap the mains power cable

around
the cable spool

and insert the mains
plug into the mains plug socket
