5.9 Operator Support
Ifyouhaveaproblem,pleasecontactyour
dealer. They will endeavour to solve any
problemswhichmayoccurandprovideyou
withsupportatalltimes.
Inordertoenableyourdealertodealwith
problemsasquicklyaspossible,ithelpsif
youcanprovidethemwiththefollowingdata.
Alwaysstatethe:
•CustomerNumber
•NameandAddress
•MachineModel
•SerialNumberofMachine
•DateofPurchaseandOperatingHours
•TypeofProblem
Avoid sharp-edged and pointed
parts (disc blades, etc.) when
workingonthemachine.
Place the machine on suitable
s u p p o r t s w h e n w o r k i n g
underneath! Do not work under
amachinewhichisnotsupported!
On a new machine tighten all nuts and
boltsafter5hoursworkandagainafter15
hours.Thisalsoappliestopartsthathave
beenmovedorreplaced.Aftertheinitial15
hoursofworkaonceaweekcheckshould
besufcientdependingondailyworkrates.
5.8 Preparation for
Storage
Ifyouneedtostorethemachineforalonger
period,observethefollowingpoints:
•Parkthemachineundercoverifpossible.
•Protecttheroll/discsagainstrust.Ifyou
needtospraytheimplementswithoil,use
lightbiologicallydegradableoils,e.g.rape
oil.
Coveranyrubbersectionsbefore
usingoilsprays.Thesesections
mustnotbeoiled.
Removeany tracesofoil witha
suitablecleaningagent.
5.10 Maintenance
Intervals
Apart from daily maintenance, the
maintenance intervals are based on the
numberofoperatinghoursandtimedata.
Keep a record of your operating hours to
ensure that the specified maintenance
intervals are adhered to as closely as
possible.
Never use a machine that is due for
maintenance. Ensure that all deciencies
foundduringregularchecksareremedied
immediately.
