5 HANDOVER INSTRUCTIONS

1 Fill in all the details on this Boiler manual.

Instruct the end user on how to correctly operate the system. Including how to turn the system on and
off, adjust the time and temperature settings.
3 Instruct how to turn the heating system off in summer and on for winter.

Show end user how to locate all major components and ensure they understand their functions.
Explain how to check them and turn them on or off. Teach simple fault resolution.
5 Instruct how to check for air in a radiator, and bleed it from the system. Provide a bleed key.

Turn ON gas, bleed air out at the isolation valve unions. Reseal and check for gas leaks.
Turn gas OFF.
7 Outline the importance of the below SERVICE RECORDS, and instruct to keep them safe & accessible.

Recommend that the boiler be serviced
at/before the start of winter every year, and that the heat
exchanger be flushed at every service.
