4.7 Emptying the appliance
In case of prolonged absence, it
is advisable to empty the electric
heater completely. Please follow the
instructions below to do so:
– Disconnect the appliance from the
power supply.
– Make sure that the water inside the
tank is not too hot. If the temperature
is very high, open a hot tap so that it
mixes with cold water and lowers the
temperature.
– Set the safety valve lever to the
emptying position (open).
– The valve must be connected to a
wastewater pipe.
– Only connect the appliance after it has
been filled with water again.
