MOWER DRIVE BELtIieI^ACEMENT
42" & 48" MOWERS
The only difference between the 42" and 48"
mowers, other than the size, is the left arbor
cover. To replace the belt on either mower
proceed as follows.
1. R emove the mower from the tractor.
2. Loosen the left belt stop (I, figure 24)
enough to slip the belt off the pulley.
Remove the right belt stop (A).
3. Remove both arbor covers. For the
42" mower, go to step 4. FoTlhe 48"
mower, go to step 5. Before removing
take note of which holes in the hous¬
ing are used for the mounting hard¬
ware.
