TRACTOR DRIVE BELT
jREPLACEMENT
\ WARNING
I Stop the engine, set the parking brake,
1 and remove the key to prevent acci-
I dental starting.
I 1. Remove the mower from the tractor.
j 2. Loosen the screw which secures the
i fixed idler pulley (A, figure 22) and
I slip the belt off.
3. R emove the belt from the engine drive
pulley (E) (loosen belt stops as neces¬
sary).
4. S lip the belt off the idler pulley (C)
and transmission pulley (D). Remove
belt from tractor.
5. I nstall the new belt as shown in figure
22. The belt pattern is shown in figure
23.
6. A djust the engine drive pulley belt
stops according to Adjustment sec¬
tion. Tighten the fixed idler mounting
screw loosened in step 2.
