rear
suspension
arm
and
recheck

When
the
mower
is
level
re¬
place
and
spread
cotter
pins,
and
tighten
nuts
against
clevises.
SEAT
ADJUSTMENT
NOTE
If
the
seat
is
equipped
with
springs,
see
“Seat
Adjustment
with
Spring
Sus¬
pension.”
The
seat
may
be
moved
forward
or
back¬
ward
to
suit
different
size
operators.
To
move
the
seat
proceed
as
follows:

1.
Raise
the
seat
deck
by
lifting
the
latch
on
the
left
side
of
the
seat
(see
figure
43).
2.
Loosen
the
two
handles
(figure
43)
holding
the
seat.
3.
Move
the
seat
forward
or
backward
as
desired.
4.
Tighten
the
handles
to
hold
the
seat
in
place.
