always use the highest voltage range as a protection to
the instrument. Observe the meter reading. If the volt-
age is within a lower range, the switch may be set for
the lower range to obtain a more accurate reading.
3. Plug the black test lead into the COMMON - jack and
the red test lead into the + jack.
4. Be sure power is turned off in the circuit to be mea-
sured and connect the test leads across the voltage
source.
5. Turn on the power in the circuit to be measured.
For the 0—2.5 V. range, read the value directly on
the special arc marked 2.5 V.A.C. ONLY.
