to
the
internal
circuit
COMMON
and
is
isolated
from
the
AC
power-
line
ground.
This
terminal
is
used
to
connect
the
“high”
side
of
the
currents
being
measured
to
the
cur-
rent
measuring
circuits
through
the
FUNC-
TION
and
RANGE
switches.
The
“low”
side
is
connected
to
the
COMMON
jack.
This
terminal
is
used
to
connect
the
“high”
side
of
the
10
ampere
full
scale
current
being
measured
to
the
current
measuring
circuits
when
RANGE
switch
20
(10A)
and
FUNC-
TION
switch
DC
mA
or
AC
mA
are
selected.
The
“low”
side
is
connected
to
the
COMMON
jack.
This
jack
connects
to
the
positive
terminal
of
the
battery
installed.
For
battery
test,
connect
a
test
lead
between
the
V-2
jack
and
the
BAT-
TERY
TEST
jack,
with
the
FUNCTION
switch
DCV
and
the
RANGE
switch
20
(10A)
selected.
The
numerical
display
must
indicate
a
voltage
between
+4.7
volts
and
+6.0
volts
