Table 4-2. If the voltage being measured is unknown, begin
with the 600 range VAC switch.
Do not attempt to measure voltage on the 600 VAC
range which might be greater than 600 volts.
. Remove all power from the circuit being measured and dis-
charge all capacitors.
. Connect test leads to the circuit being measured.
. Apply power to the circuit being measured. The value of the
voltage being measured will be indicated on the numerical dis-
play. The analog display can be used for nulling or peaking
applications.
. Remove all power from the circuit being measured and dis-
charge all capacitors prior to disconnecting test leads.
