Turn the tension adjusting screw ‘1’
clockwise (in direction of the marker
‘+’), the bobbin thread tension will
increase.
Turn the tension adjusting screw ‘1’
counterclockwise (in direction of
the marker ‘-’), the bobbin thread
tension will decrease.

Left, Center and Right needle posi-
tion settings are available for place-
ment of both straight and zigzag
stitching (see Figure25).
To position, push lever in and move
to desired setting.
Center setting:
Normal sewing.
Left/Right setting:
Only used when special place-
ment of stitching is desired.
Caution
Do not make any
needle position
adjustment while
the needle is in
the fabric.
Switch off the
machine.
