Inserting a zipper
To insert a zipper we recommend the use of a zipper
foot to allow an even stitching.
RECOMMENDED INITIAL SETTINGS
Pattern: Straight stitch
Needle position: Center
Stitch length: 2-5
Foot: Zipper foot
WHEN THE ZIPPER TEETH ARE TO THE LEFT
OF THE NEEDLE:
• Place the foot on the shank on the left side of the
foot (illustration 1).
WHEN THE ZIPPER TEETH ARE TO THE RIGHT
OF THE NEEDLE:
• Place the foot on the shank on the right side of the
foot (illustration 2).
