BLIND STITCH
1. First finish the raw edge. Do this by turning it under on fine fabrics and
overcasting it on medium to heavyweight ones.
Then turn the hem up the required depth, press and pin in place.
2. Now fold the fabric as illustrated.
OURLET INVISIBLE
1. D’abord surfiler les bords avec un zigzag, ensuite retourner l’ourlet sur
la largeur désirée et repasser.
2. Maintenant, replier le tissu comme iilustré.
3. Place the fabric under
the foot with the fold of
the fabric positioned so
that the needle just
pierces the fold when
the needle swings to the
left. Use stitch width
control to fine tune exact
position of needle.
4. When completed, the
stitching is almost invisible
on the right side of the
fabric.
3. Remplacez le pied par
celui de point invisible.
Placez l’envers du tissu
sous le pied. Abaissez
le pied. Cousez de
façon que le zig zag
s’effectue sur la pliure.
4. Lorsque l’ourlet est
terminé, les points sont
presque invisibles sur
l’endroit du tissu.
