Why does my Sinocare Blood Glucose Meter display incorrect test results?
    • T
      Taylor PatelAug 20, 2025
If your Sinocare Blood Glucose Meter displays an incorrect test result, it could be due to several reasons. One potential cause is that the test strip has been exposed to air for too long after being taken out of the vial. To resolve this, ensure you finish the test within 3 minutes of removing the strip from the vial. Another cause might be pressing the strip too firmly against your finger, which prevents the sample from being smoothly applied. Gently touch the blood drop to the top edge of the test strip instead. Also, check if the test strip foil pouch is broken, damaged, or left open to the air, or if the test strips in the vial are past their expiration or discard date. In such cases, use a new test strip.

      Barbara WhiteAug 22, 2025
If your Sinocare Blood Glucose Meter displays an incorrect test result, it could be due to an expired test strip. In this case, use a new test strip. Another cause may be a defective meter or test strip, in which case you should contact the manufacturer or the dealer. It could also be due to a false test mode, so make sure you choose the right test mode.

    • A
      Anne SmithAug 25, 2025
If the Sinocare Blood Glucose Meter doesn't start testing after you apply the sample, it could be due to several reasons. One reason might be an insufficient sample. To fix this, repeat the test with a new test strip and ensure you use enough blood sample. Another reason could be that the sample is applied to the wrong site of the test strip. In this case, apply the sample to the test strip according to the instructions for “Applying sample.” Finally, make sure you are not using a used test strip, and use a new one instead.
