If the SKF Lubrication system pump runs but supplies little or no lubricant, several factors could be at play. It might be due to air pockets in the lubricant, or the lubricant consistency could be too high at low temperatures or too low at high temperatures. Other potential causes include incorrect configuration of the metering device, a blockage or fault within the centralized lubrication system, a defective check valve or pressure relief valve, a clogged suction bore of the pump element, or a closed pump element. The suggested solution is to check whether one of the indicated faults is present and remedy it in the frame of responsibilities.
