What to do if my Skil 5080 Saw will not start?
- CCrystal GordonJul 25, 2025
If your Skil Saw won't start, there are several potential causes: * The power cord might not be plugged in. Make sure to plug the saw in. * A fuse in your power source may have blown, or a circuit breaker tripped. Replace the fuse or reset the breaker. * The cord could be damaged. Inspect it, and if it is, have it replaced by an authorized Skil service center. * The switch may be burned out. In this case, have the switch replaced by an authorized Skil service center. * The safety switch may be engaged preventing the tool from turning on. Disengage the Safety Switch.
