  If your Skil Saw cut binds, burns, and stalls motor when ripping, the causes and solutions are: * A dull blade with improper tooth set. Discard the blade and use a different one. * A warped board. Make sure the concave or hollow side is facing 'DOWN' and feed slowly. * Blade binds. Assemble the blade and tighten the Vari-Torque clutch. * Improper workpiece support. Clamp or support the workpiece.
