16. Torque all wires in the terminal blocks inside the Sunny Boy to:
Verify that all connections are correctly wired and properly torqued. Make a tension test.
12. Pull the DC wires from the DC disconnect through the
conduit into the interior of the Sunny Boy.
13. Pull the wires slightly back in order to seal the
grommet.
14. Connect the black wire (PV UNGROUNDED) to the
terminal labeled DC+ in the Sunny Boy.
15. Connect the white wire (PV GROUNDED) to the
terminal labeled DC– in the Sunny Boy.
Grey Terminal Blocks (Weidmüller) 10 - 6 AWG: 18 in-lb (2 Nm)
Green Terminal Blocks (Phoenix) 8 - 6 AWG: 40 in-lb (4.5 Nm)
10 AWG: 22 in-lb (2.5 Nm)
