• Strip the insulation of the equipment grounding conductor by 10mm (0.4in).
• Plug the equipment grounding conductor into
a contact opening on the equipment
grounding terminal and tighten the
corresponding screw using a cross-head
screwdriver (Torque: 4Nm (35in-lb)).

5. Check whether the DC connectors have the correct polarity.
If the DC connector is equipped with a DC cable of the wrong polarity, the DC connector must
be reassembled. The DC cable must always have the same polarity as the DC connector.
6. Ensure that the open-circuit voltage of the PV array does not exceed the maximum input
voltage of the inverter and that there are no ground faults present in the PV arrays.
7. Connect the assembled DC connectors to the inverter.
☑ The DC connectors snap into place.
8. Ensure that all DC connectors are securely in place.

NOTICE
Damage to the inverter due to moisture ingress
If there are any DC inputs remaining on the inverter that have not been used, the inverter is
not sealed and moisture can penetrate into the inverter. The inverter is only sealed if the DC
connectors are connected to the inverter with the DC conductors and any free DC inputs are
sealed with sealing plugs.
• Seal the free DC inputs on the inverter using
the sealing plugs.
