Starting route simulation

Press Simulation mode in the "Route
information" menu (Y page 50).
The route is shown from the start (or pre-
vious position) to the destination.
Displaying trip info

Press Trip info in the "Route informa-
tion" menu (Y page 50).
You see the following information:
R
maximum speed
R
average speed
R
distance covered
R
driving time
R
total remaining driving time
R
total remaining journey distance
The bar underneath shows the following
information:
R
current height above sea level
R
current time (if route guidance is not
active)
R
remaining journey time to next desti-
nation (intermediate stop, final des-
tination)
R
remaining distance to next destina-
tion (intermediate stop, final desti-
nation)
R
estimated time of arrival at next des-
tination (intermediate stop, final
destination)

To close trip info: press &.

The information can also be shown by
pressing the field with the destination
information at the bottom of the map
(Y page 47).
Editing a route
Introduction
You can add additional destinations to the
route, optimise route guidance or change
the order of the destinations.

Press the arrow at the bottom left of the
map (Y page 47).
The navigation main menu appears.
X
Press Route planning.
The edit route menu appears.
The following functions can be selected:
R
adding a destination
R
optimising a route (available with four
or more destination entries)
R
changing the order of the destinations
within the route
R
loading/saving a route
Adding a destination

Press Alternative route.
The new destination menu appears.
X
Select destination entry.
Entering an address (Y page 36)
Last locations (Y page 42)
Current position (if available)
Special destinations (Y page 43)

Select option 1.
Favourites (Y page 43)
X
Press OK in the detailed information
menu (Y page 39).
The destination is entered in the edit
route menu.
