The FireLite CD contains additional software for Macintosh users to help you work
with FireLite.
SmartDisk Tools
™
SmartDisk Tools
is a utility program for Macintosh computers used to prepare all
SmartDisk FireWire hard disks and storage devices. The utilities in
SmartDisk Tools
are used to:
•
Format and partition FireWire devices such as FireLite. You can format them
for DOS or Macintosh.
•
Test your FireWire device.
•
Add an extension (also called a driver) which allows your computer to detect
and use FireWire devices.
