Finally, inspect the waste hose for obstructions, kinks, or pinches; remove any obstructions, unkink the hose, or remove any objects causing a pinch.

  If the motor of your smith&nephew Medical Equipment is turning, but no fluidjet is visible in the handpiece, first ensure that there is a fluid supply by attaching a saline bag or replacing it if it's empty. If the saline bag is not the reason, there may be air in the supply hose. To resolve this, pump fluid on a high setting until the system is purged of all air.
