blanket is appropriate for the patient,
and position the blanket.
2. Attach the hose, ensuring the
hose ridge snaps into the blanket
collar ring.
3. Attach the sheet clip.

IMPORTANT: Please refer to the Operator’s Manual supplied with the product for detailed instructions, contraindications, warnings, and cautions.
4. Press the green Power ON button. 5. Press the 36°C Temperature
Setting after the self-test.
6. The Temperature Setting
may be increased as tolerated
by the patient.
7. After use, press the orange
Power OFF button.
8. Remove the hose from blanket. 9. Dispose of the blanket according
to local guidelines.

Equator Convective Warming System Operation

Determine and Position Blanket

Select the appropriate Snuggle Warm blanket and position it for the patient.

Attach Hose and Sheet Clip

Connect the hose to the blanket collar ring and attach the sheet clip.

Power On and Set Temperature

Press the Power ON button and set the desired temperature after self-test.

Adjust Temperature and Power Off

Adjust temperature as needed, then press the Power OFF button.

Troubleshooting the Convective Warming System

No Power or Failed Self-Test

Check power connections, cord integrity, thermistor cable, and hose attachment.

Air Flow Issues

Address problems with no air flow, weak air flow, or noisy air flow by checking connections and filters.

No Heat with Air Flow

Ensure the correct temperature is selected, not Ambient Air mode.

Alarms and Indicators

Disconnect Indicator and Alarm

Troubleshoot loss of heat by checking blanket setup, connections, and restarting the system.

Over Temperature Indicator and Alarm

Resolve over-temperature alarms by powering off and then on.

Under Temperature Indicator

Wait for the hose end temperature to reach the selected setting.
