Measuring Temperature
Range: -40 to 510°C
-40 to 950°F
NOTE:
Temperature measurement requires temperature input
adapter and K-type temperature probe.
CAUTION!
To avoid possible meter or equipment
damage, please note that the optional
thermocouple is rated up to 950°F (510°C).
For higher temperatures, a different probe
is required.
Rotary switch position
Selecting the Temperature Mode
Press the function button until the desired
temperature mode is selected (°F or °C)
Temperature input adapter connection
Optional functions
Activates manual ranging. Hold in for 2 seconds
to return to auto range.
Activates the Min/Max/Ave Record mode.
Hold in for 2 seconds to deactivate.
Toggles between +/- trigger in IP or IG function.
Activates relative mode.
Hold in for 2 seconds to deactivate.
Activates Data Hold on non-automotive
functions. Press again to deactivate.
Hold down for 2 seconds to activate 1mS Peak
Hold on DC volt and DC current functions.
Measuring uA and mA DC
Range: 0.00 – 400 milliamps DC
CAUTION!
Do not attempt to make a current
measurement with the test leads connected
in parallel with circuit to be tested. Test
leads must be connected in series with the
circuit.
WARNING!
Do not attempt to make a current
measurement of circuits with more than
600V present. Instrument damage and/or
personal injury may result.
