MAINTENANCE
INSTRUCTIONS
BRAKE
ADJUSTMENT
HYDRO
DRIVE
MODELS
To
be
properly
adjusted,
the
brake
should
stop
the
tractor
in
approximately
6
feet
from
top
speed
when
the
clutch/
brake
pedal
is
fully
depressed.
Adjust
brake
when
necessary
as
follows:
Turn
engine
"OFF*.
Raise
hood,
remove
spark
plug
wire
from
spark
plug
and
secure
wire
away
from
plug.
Locate
brake
adjustment
on
right
side
of
tractor
in
front
of
and
behind
right
rear
wheel.

Turn
nut
clockwise
to
increase
braking
action
or,
coun¬
terclockwise
to
decrease
braking
action.

Replace
spark
plug
wire,
start
engine
and
test
brake.
Continue
adjustment
as
described
above
until
proper
adjustment
is
achieved.
GEAR
DRIVE
MODELS
To
be
