If your computer needs a wired Ethernet connection to access
the Internet, connect your computer’s data cable (student
provided) to the PC port on the Snom 300.
Basic Call Functions of the SNOM 300
Make a Call
• When making a call you must prefix the number with a “9”.
• When using the handset or headset, enter the number using the
keypad and press to confirm.
• To make a hands free call, complete the above actions and press
Speaker key.
Answer a Call
• If using the handset, pick up to answer the call
• If using a headset, press the to answer the call
• Or press the Speaker key to answer the call hands free.
Switch between two calls
• While engaged in a call, either L1 or L2 (as appropriate) will flash
to indicate a second call.
• Place the first call on hold by pressing L1 or L2 (as appropriate)
• Press either L1 or L2 to retrieve the second call.
• Switch between calls by pressing L1 or L2.
The active line/call is indicated by a fast flashing light, the held call
is indicated by a slow flashing light.
