You can set up your EA15 using one of these two methods:
Send software commands from your host system using the Intermec
Scanner Control Protocol (ISCP). For help, see the ISCP Technical
Reference Manual available (limited access) from the Intermec web site at
www.intermec.com or through your Intermec representative.
To help you get started with ISCP, Intermec provides ISCP support
documents. These documents are available upon request from your
Intermec OEM Sales Representative:
DLL file for implementation of ISCP
API documentation that describes how to use the DLL file
Sample application (Windows and DOS)
Sample application source code
Scan configuration bar codes created using EasySet®. EasySet is an
Intermec configuration application that is available at no charge from
the Intermec web site at www.intermec.com. For more information
about EasySet, see the EasySet software.
This section provides you with the bar codes necessary for a basic setup. For
advanced setup options, use EasySet.
To setup your EA15

Note: The default RS-232 settings are 57600 baud rate, 8 data bits, and no

changed when ISCP is not active. An asterisk symbol (*) indicates the
default value.
