7. COMMUNICATION ARCHITECTURES
The DIRIS Digiware D-50 and D-70 display can be congured as a Slave or a Master for the RS485 bus.

When configured as RS485 Master, the D-50/D-70 acts as a gateway (Digiware to Ethernet and RS485 to Ethernet).
