Recharging
C8L features a USB-C port for convenient recharging. Please connect it with the included USB-A to USB-C
cable and use a USB power adapter (not included) with 5V 2.5A(max). While charging the LED power
indicator flashes red. Once finished the indicator will turn green to indicate a full battery. It takes three
hours to fully charge one 21700 4000mAh battery. Please note that while charging, the flashlight will
automatically turn off, and you may single click to turn on Eco.
Safety Instructions:
C8L is a powerful flashlight. Never point it directly at a person, animal or moving vehicles. Doing so
could cause retinal damage. Please do not allow children to play with it. Strobe mode may cause
seizure in persons with photosensitive epilepsy.
While charging, the flashlight only allows operation of Eco. We don’t recommend using the flashlight
while charging.
Operating C8L for a long time in high powered modes will quickly heat up the flashlight. This is
normal.
Pay close attention to the proper installation of the battery. Always check that the negative end of
the battery is visible at the tube’s end before screwing the tailcap back on.
Please unscrew the tailcap half a turn to avoid unwanted activation during transport. It also prevents
the battery from draining while the flashlight is in standby.
Avoid hitting or dropping the flashlight.

Battery Installation: Unscrew the tailcap to insert one 21700 battery or 18650 battery (with adapter
sleeve) with the anode side (+) towards the head and then screw tailcap back on. Both unprotected or
protected button top 18650 batteries are supported, only unprotected 21700 batteries are supported.
