DISCONNECT the unit from the electrical power source before
performing any maintenance on the unit.
DO NOT stand in water while operating the unit.
Ensure that the unit is NOT in water or has water contacting it while in
operation.
AVOID direct eye exposure to a lit UV lamp. Repeated or prolonged eye
exposure can cause serious eye injuries. Wear UV absorbing safety glasses
when viewing UV lamps in operation.
AVOID direct skin exposure to a lit UV lamp. Repeated or prolonged skin
exposure can cause serious burns and skin tissue injuries. Wear protective
clothing and shield exposed skin surfaces.
AVOID handling the UV lamps immediately following operation of the
unit. UV lamps are HOT during operation of the unit and should be
allowed to cool sufficiently before handling.
Do not BLOCK or otherwise obstruct the path of the exhaust airflow.
Maintain an UNOBSTRUCTED perimeter of at least 3 feet (1 metre) from
the exhaust port.
