To resolve this, turn the SolarEdge Key OFF, disconnect the PV string, and check the PV module datasheet to ensure the number of connected modules doesn't exceed the 1000V limit.

What to do if number of power optimizers is less than connected in SolarEdge Key?

  If, after SafeDC disabling, the LCD display shows fewer power optimizers than connected in the string on your SolarEdge Adapter, there are two possible reasons: * One or more power optimizers are not properly connected. In this case, check the connections of all power optimizers and repeat SafeDC disabling. * One or more power optimizers are shaded or not receiving enough power during commissioning. In this case, repeat SafeDC disabling when all power optimizers have sufficient power and all PV modules are exposed to sunlight.
