  If your SOMFY Engine shade only moves while you hold a direction, it could be due to a few reasons. If you were adjusting a limit from user mode, you need to confirm your new limits by moving the shade to where you want the new limit and then press and HOLD the MY button for a jog. Another possibility is that the motor is still in programming mode, in which case you should go back to step [3] under Programming. If neither of those options work, reset the motor and start over by going to step [9] Erasing Motor Settings.

It could be that the motor drive is not put into the tube correctly, so remove the motor and ensure the drive is in the correct orientation.
