Sonesse 30 Programming & Operation Instructions

Before you begin
Motors are shipped without limit switch settings and transmitter ID’s
Steps (1-6) must be completed to ensure proper shade programming and functionality.
It may be necessary to disconnect shades from their respective power while programming
is in progress. While programming (step 4), shade should not be inactive for longer than
2 minutes or motor will exit programming mode.

For Single Channel Transmitters (Telis 1, Decora 1, or Chronis Timer)
1) On the transmitter, press and hold the UP and DOWN uttons simultaneously
until the shade jogs (shade operates in a short up and down movement).
For Multi-Channel Transmitters (Telis 4 or Decora 4)
1) Using the channel selector, select the desired channel.
2) On the transmitter, press and hold the UP and DOWN uttons simultaneously
until the shade jogs.

The following illustrations and instructions represent the Telis
hand-held remote, and may also be applied to the Decora
wireless wall switch and Chronis Timer.
1) Connect 24V DC power supply to the motor
Motor should already be installed in shade.
Connect Power to Motor
Programming Instructions are for use with Telis 1&4, Decora 1&4 or Chronis Timer
NOTE: This step cannot be performed if the transmitter has already been programmed
(memorized) to shade.

Connect Power to Motor

Connect the 24V DC power supply to the motor, ensuring it is installed in the shade.

Initiate Programming Mode

Start programming by simultaneously pressing and holding UP and DOWN buttons on the transmitter until the shade jogs.

Shade Direction and Limit Setting

Check and Correct Shade Polarity

Verify shade moves correctly with UP/DOWN buttons. Press MY (stop) for 2 seconds to reverse direction if needed.

Define Upper and Lower Shade Limits

Program the desired upper and lower shade positions by moving the shade and using specific button combinations on the transmitter.

Finalize Programming and Add Devices

Complete Programming and Exit Mode

Finalize programming by pressing and holding the PROGRAM button on the transmitter until the shade jogs.

Add Additional Transmitters/Channels

Add new single-channel transmitters or assign specific channels to multi-channel transmitters using the PROGRAM button.

Manage Programmed Settings

Delete Specific Channels or Transmitters

Remove specific channels or transmitters using the PROGRAM button; delete all via the motor head.

Reset Motor to Factory Defaults

Erase all programmed settings, limits, and channels by holding the red PROGRAM switch for 12 seconds.

Set Intermediate Shade Position

Define and save an intermediate shade position by moving the shade and pressing the MY (stop) button.

Adjusting Preset Shade Positions

Re-adjust Upper Limit Position

Modify the pre-set upper limit by moving the shade to a new position and confirming with the MY (stop) button.

Advanced Shade Operations

Re-adjust Lower Limit Position

Modify the pre-set lower limit by moving the shade to a new position and confirming with the MY (stop) button.

Manual Shade Activation

Operate the shade manually by pressing the Yellow button located on the motor head.
