      If the IR receiver in the Keypad of your Sonance Stereo System does not work, ensure the IR receiver jumper is in the ON position. Eliminate interference from light sources, such as sunlight, halogen, or fluorescent lights, that may be interfering with or locking up the IR Receiver. You can also move the Keypad away from the source of interference, or turn the IR receiver on the keypad OFF and use a separate IR receiver in a different location.

      If the USB connection gives a Windows error indicating that the device is not detected with your Sonance stereo system, unplug the USB cable to the DAB and try reinstalling the USB driver.       If there is no paging signal in zones of your Sonance Stereo System, be sure the Paging audio source is connected to the Page IN jack on the Primary DAB Controller. Also, ensure that Page IN/OUT are connected in an expanded system (multiple DAB Controllers). Verify that the 12V Page Trigger input is connected and that the Page Trigger device is outputting 6-12V AC/DC.

      If a source is not responding to an IR command output by the DAB Controller of your Sonance stereo system, verify in Program Manager that the proper command has been programmed to a button. Test the IR Command from the IR Library to confirm it is the right code. If necessary, try another remote from the same brand/component. If no codes from the library work, teach the IR command to the IR Library or relearn the command.

      If the DAB1 Remote is not controlling source components, check that the IR emitters are attached over the IR eyes on the front of the source components and properly plugged into the DAB1. Also, ensure that IR commands for source components have been associated with DAB Remote commands (Stop, Play, Pause, Skip Rev, Skip Fwd) by source and by zone in Program Manager.
