1-3. System Description
Power supply unit
The MVS-8000 Power Supply Units are supplied with MVS-8000 processor.
Three power supply units are required to run the MVS-8000 system. An optional fourth unit is added to
provide redundant power. With fourth unit mounted, one unit can fail without causing system failure.
It is recommended that each unit’s AC input be connected to the AC supply circuit of a separated power
source system. Any unit (s) for which a separate power source system is not available, is (are) recom-
mended to be connected to a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply).

The power cord is not supplied with the MVS-8000.
It is necessary that the power cord should be applicable to places in the area.
