Why don't my CG files appear in the Sony MCS-8M list?
    • D
      Dennis BradleyAug 19, 2025
If CG files do not appear in the list, it could be due to two reasons: either the file is not saved in the correct import folder, or the file name is too long. To fix this, save the file in the “\Sony\MCS\FM” folder and ensure the file name (including the extension) is 25 characters or less.

Why is the FTB button not working on my Sony MCS-8M Switch?
    • C
      Craig YorkAug 26, 2025
If the FTB button in the transition control block does not function, it could be due to one of two reasons. First, AUX 1 or AUX 2 might be delegated to the cross-point control block. To solve this, change the bus delegation button selection to BKGD or KEY. Second, [Fade To Black] might be set to [Disbl] in the [Setup] menu > [Video (Misc)] menu. If so, set [Fade To Black] to [Enbl].
