1-4-1. Cleaning the Fan
CAUTION
Be sure to turn off the power switch and disconnect the power cable before cleaning the fan. Failure to do
so may cause electric shock or damage to boards.
Note
This unit performs air cooling with the fan at the right side. If dust adheres to the opening of the fan and air flow is
blocked, the internal temperature of the unit rises, which may affect the unit performance and lifetime. It is recommended
that the fan be cleaned monthly.
1. Usually
1. Remove dust on and around the fan with a vacuum cleaner or the like.
2. When it is difficult to remove dust or in the case of heavy contamination
1. Remove the fan according to the fan removal procedure. (Refer to “1-3-3. DC Fan (80 Square)”.)
2. Clean the fan frame and blades with a cleaning cloth dampened with cleaning fluid.

Note
If dust adheres to the dust protection sheet and air flow is blocked, heat remains inside the unit, which may affect the
unit performance. Clean the dust protection sheet every two months.
