Output serial digital signals. If you have installed the
optional BKDS-2061 board, you can use connectors | to
3 to output AUX bus signals to digital multi-effect units
and other external equipment. Use connector 4 to output
EDIT PVW bus signals for the BVE-2000 or other
editing controllers. These buses can be controlled from
external equipment over RS-422A interfaces.
© REF (reference video) INPUTS connectors
(BNC) ae:
Input an analog reference video signal (sync or black —
burst signal) to synchronize the switcher with an external
synchronization signal. The 2 connectors form aloop-
through connection, allowing you to input a signal to
either connector and output the same signal from the
other connector. When not using loop-though output, .
always terminate the signal with the supplied 75-ohm
terminator. , . ,
© REF (reference video) OUTPUT connector
(BNC)
In the standard configuration, outputs an analog reference
video signal (525/625 line). When an optional BKDS-
2062 board is installed, you can input black burst signals
to the REF INPUTS connectors © and output NTSC
black burst signals locked to the input to the REF INPUT
connectors. Use the control panel to select the signal for
output.
@ EXT (extra) connector (D-sub 25-pin)
This connector is provided for future system expansion.
© SERIAL TALLY (D-sub 9-pin)
Use to output tally information from the switcher to
external equipment. This connector complies with the
RS-422A standard.
