  If the input video is not displayed, verify whether the displayed output video is PREVIEW or CLEAN output. If it is AUX output video, check the output video assignment using the AUX menu. Also, check the lighting status of the M/E button row and the SHIFT button to ensure the correct button is selected. Additionally, press the INPUT button to check if the button row assignment has been changed from the Input Remap menu, or if the freeze mode is set to LIVE. Check the input process amplifier setting from the Input Process 1, 2 menu. Ensure that images registered by KEY 1 to KEY 4 and DSK1/DSK 2 are not superimposed and that BLACK TRANS is disabled. Finally, if AUX output/input video of expansion option is displayed, check whether the up-conversion setting is correct.

  If the power is not turning on, check whether the power cables are properly connected to BKDF-901/902 and DFS-900M. After verifying the connections, turn on the power switch of BKDF-901/902. Once BKDF-901/902 has started normally, an initialization message will appear on its display panel. Then, turn on the power switch of DFS-900M and confirm that its power indicator lights up green.

  If the output video is disturbed, verify that the video format setting is correct. Display the video format menu and confirm that the input signal matches the setting. Also, check that the settings of the display device (such as a monitor) are correct. If the video format is changed while the input signal freeze function is used, set the freeze function again with the updated video format and download stills.

  If no key is displayed and key transition is not enabled, verify that the KEY SOURCE and KEY INSERT settings are correct. Also, check the DME mode (with KEY / without KEY) setting using the KEYER menu. Additionally, confirm that invisible position and size are not set with DME in the KEYER menu. Reset the DME parameter or make DME transition, if needed. Finally, make sure that the current mode is not the transition preview mode.

  If the DME transaction button is pressed but there is no response, check whether the number of DME channels has reached the upper limit. The number of DME channels is displayed as 'Now Using DMEs= ' according to the number of additional expansion option DME boards. (2: No additional DME board / 4: One additional DME board / 6: Two additional DME boards). The number of DME channels can be enabled within the displayed number.

  If communication is disabled and 'Prepare communication between CP and PR' is displayed, first check if DFS-900M is powered on, ensuring the power indicator is green and the fans are rotating. Then, confirm that BKDF-901/902 is connected to DFS-900M with the supplied control cable (cross cable), as a straight cable will not work. Verify the LAN cable is properly connected and the LAN connector access LED of both BKDF-901/902 and DFS-900M is lit green. Note that it may take several minutes for communication to start after the unit is powered on. If the LED does not start blinking orange after a while, turn off the power of DFS-900M and restart it. The following messages should appear sequentially on the display panel of BKDF-901/902 during startup: 1. Now initializing…Please wait… 2. Now in...
