Turn on the power of the equipment to be used.
Insert the original cassette to the player and a new
cassette to this unit.

2 Press the INPUT SELECT button to select the LINE
1 or LINE 2 (due to the jacks where the player is
connected).
3 Locate the point on the tape where the insert should
end by pressing the <q REW or p® FF button
during playback and press the COUNTER RESET
button.

4 Press the <q REW button during playback to
rewind the tape a little further than the point where
the insert should begin and set this unit to the
recording pause mode.

5 Locate the cut-in point where the playback is begun
on the player and set to the playback pause mode.
6 Release the pause modes simultaneously.
Stop the recording at the cut-out point (QH00m00s).
For better editing
Release the playback pause mode a little earlier than the
recording pause mode.
Note
When the edited tape is played back, the picture may be
disturbed momentarily at the cut-out point.
