• To disconnect the power cord (mains lead), pull
it out by the plug , not the co rd.
• The unit is not disconnected from the AC power
source (mains) as long as It is connect ed to the
wall outlet even it the unit Itself is turned off.
• Do

blankets. etc.) or near materials(curtains .
draperies) that block the ventilation holes.
• Use the unit wrttun a temperature range of O'C to

"F). If it is used in
temperatures highe r than this range . number s
may appear on the frequency which have
nothing to do with the frequency being receiv ed.
If it is used in temper atures lower than this
range, the numbers displayed may change very
slowly . (These irregulanhes will disappear and
there will be no damage to the Unit when the unit
is used in its recom mended temperature range .)
• Since a strong magnet is used for the speaker.
keep personal credit cards using magnetic
codin g or spring-wo und watches away Irom the
unit to prevent possible dama ge from the
magnet.
• Should anyth ing fall into the unit. unplug the unit
and have it checked by qualified personne l
before ope rating it furth er.
• To clean the casing, use a soft cloth dampened
with a mild detergent solution.
Banery Warning
When the unit will be left unplugged for a long
time. remove the battery to avoid undue battery
discharge and dam age to the unit from battery
leakage .
