Sony PS-J10 - Speed Adjustment

SPEED ADJUSTMENT
Note: Be sure to perform 33rpm adjustment before 45rpm.
1. Place a stroboscope board on the turntable sheet.
2. Set the speed switch to 33.
3. Set to play mode.
4. Adjust VR1 so that the stripped pattern of stroboscope board
is stationary.
5. Set the speed switch to 45.
Adjust VR2 in the same way.
Note:
• All capacitors are in µF unless otherwise noted. pF: µµF
50 WV or less are not indicated except for electrolytics
and tantalums.
• All resistors are in Ω and

specified.
Note:

Replace only with part

• H : adjustment for repair.
• Voltages and waveforms are dc with respect to ground in
playback mode.
• Voltages are taken with a VOM (Input impedance 10 MΩ).
Voltage variations may be noted due to normal produc-
tion tolerances.
