SYSTEM selectors
Select the sound reproducing system with these switches:
2 CH............for two-channel fistening when playing conven-
tional stereo program sources.
...for making ambience effects with conventional two-
channel! programs. For some records, this adds
live depth.
SOP eee: for SQ listening when playing an SQ program or
conventional stereophonic program sources.*
R-MTX ow... for matrix four-channel listening when playing
other type matrix program sources.
DISCRETE......for listening to discrete four-channel programs con-
nected to the DISCRETE INPUTs. Set the MONI-
TOR selector to SOURCE (or to 2 CH TAPE) and
push this switch in.
* For conventional stereo program sources, use either the SQ,
R-MTX, or 2-4 position for four-channel listening according to
your preference.
